Where to mountain bike ride in Victoria, Australia
Victoria is an awesome place to mountain bike with something for everyone any time of the year.
We love riding the trails here but could never find a single source of information that included all sanctioned (landowner approved) and way-marked trail centres around Melbourne and across Victoria. So we’ve been out and ridden them (any excuse). We’ve written up our unbiassed, experienced views and put this together in a simple form to help you find where to ride, get out there and enjoy them too.
It’s all for free: no login, no subscription needed. All verified, checked and updated regularly, and not cobbled together inaccurately using AI or using other people’s IP.
We’ll keep building content so check back regularly to see what’s new.
Select a trail location on the interactive map below and click to go to its details page to find information on the trail network, its facilities, trail maps, how to get there, who it’s suitable for and much more.
There’s also a Rider Guide with helpful hints and tips to get you out on the trails.
